I experienced this firsthand during my own ATPL training.
At the time, I was looking for something simple: a clearly structured, easy-to-understand collection of formulas that would help me navigate the mathematical and technical aspects of ATPL theory.
I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
That experience became the motivation behind ATPL Formula Study Aids.

My goal is to provide aspiring airline pilots with accessible, well-structured formula handbooks that bring together important mathematical relationships, explanations, illustrations and worked examples.
Rather than simply presenting formulas, these handbooks aim to help students understand what the formulas mean, when to use them and how to apply them.
The idea is straightforward: less time searching through different materials, more time understanding and practising.
